Our Story

Inspired by a city that sits on the edge of the California outback, the city of Twentynine Palms is the gateway to Joshua Tree National Park, the Mohave National Preserve and host to the world’s largest Marine Corps training base. It was at our vacation home in Twentynine Palms that we were introduced to home roasting by a fellow rock climber and where we began experimenting with our very own home roasts.

We set out to create the best coffee we’ve ever tasted and so it began with the highest quality, ethically sourced sub-varieties and hybrids of Arabica beans we could find, coupled with a top of the line small batch roaster. After fine-tuning our coffee roasting skills for a decade, we can say with confidence that our micro-batch, freshly roasted coffee beans are among the best out there and make exceptional coffee. 

It seemed a shame to keep them all to ourselves, so we’ve taken our passion project to market with 29 Bombs Coffee. Inspired by world class stargazing, vibrant sunsets and unique desert landscapes, we hope you visit Twentynine Palms, or at the very least, experience an escape to the Wild West by raising a cup of freshly brewed 29 Bombs Coffee.
